Domicilium have become founder members of the Manx Digital Currency Association. The Association has been formed to create and promote the Isle of Man a jurisdiction of excellence for digital currency and as an ideal base for organisations engaged in such activities.
Members of the Association includes representatives from a broad range of professional services companies and organisations engaged in the virtual currency sector. These include exchanges, banks, gaming companies, corporate services providers, accountants, lawyers, miners, payment processors and datacentre operators.
Andy Swearman, Managing Director of Domicilium commented “Domicilium have worked in the virtual currency sector since 2010, initially assisting bitcoin miners and also a number of exchanges who have benefited from Domicilium’s expertise in the virtual currency sector and high volume trading platforms. We have a strong background in supporting the financial services sector, and we are pleased to support the Manx Digital Currency Association in its endeavours to promote the Isle of Man as the jurisdiction of choice for virtual currency operators”.
