Kitbag to present Mercado’s searchandising success story at Internet World 2008

Sports and F1 merchandising retailer, Kitbag will be holding a seminar titled ‘Kitbag’s race towards e-Commerce success through search and merchandising’ at Internet World’s e-Commerce and Connectivity theatre at 2pm on Wednesday, 30th April 2008. Kitbag is one of Findel’s online brands that has recently adopted Mercado’s solution as part of a major upgrade of Findel’s online functionality. Tim Broughton, Findel Direct’s IT Director will be talking about Kitbag’s journey through e-Commerce, focusing on how search and merchandising is key to the website’s success.

Tim Broughton will provide information and insight into Kitbag’s experience in e-tail and will discuss the issues and challenges they faced on different and older platforms, the growing importance of search and merchandising in the world of e-Commerce as well as Kitbag’s future objectives with Mercado.

This is why we are concentrating on site search and navigation, combined with merchandising which allows us to highlight any relevant promotions.
