Live demonstration of web TV for B2B marketers at Internet World
17 April 2008

What happens when the people you want to reach at a marketing event aren’t there? Or if those who are there want to share what they saw with their colleagues back at base?

The answer, according to web TV specialists BroadView, is to stream the event live over the web and also make it available as an on demand webcast after the show is over. That’s what the company will be doing at this year’s Internet World, where managing director Stuart Maister is speaking on the subject of B2B digital marketing: four proven ways that web TV can bring it to life. The London-based web TV company will be streaming this live over the internet on Tuesday 29 April.

Stuart’s seminar will address the increasing adoption of rich media as a key part of companies’ B2B digital communications strategy, and identify the benefits of web TV at all stages of the prospecting/conversion/retention/growth process.
“B2C marketing is rapidly adopting webcasting as a way of providing high value content to consumers,” said Maister. “But some B2B marketing is behind the curve on this issue. I hope that the session will be useful for this segment – whether they are there live or watching remotely on the web. ”
BroadView has also filmed an Internet World preview video, featuring an interview with event director James Drake-Brockman. This web video also forecasts what the show trends will be and can be viewed at:

Maister will be speaking in the Web 2.0 theatre from 12.30-1pm on Tuesday 29 April. BroadView will be exhibiting at stand E185 from 29 April-1 May at the event in Earl’s Court.

BroadView’s seminar will be streamed by Groovy Gecko.
